History

DataLAN Systems, Inc. was founded and incorporated as a Pennsylvania based S Corporation with all of its stock privately held. DataLAN Systems, Inc. was incorporated on November 11, 2000. Initially, DataLAN Systems devoted itself to computer network related service work, local area network (LAN) installation, and custom built business PCs. The company set itself up with Microsoft as an OEM System Builder and a Registered Microsoft Partner.

Converging Technologies

Soon, however, it became apparent that the technology that was used for the installation of local area networks was converging with that of telephone networks, alarm systems and access control. On January 1st, 2002 DataLAN Systems, Inc. proudly opened the low voltage side of their company. The company immediately pursued dealerships with Comdial for telephony equipment, Vicon for CCTV, and Continental Instruments for access control.

 

 

Evolving Products and Services

Today, DataLAN Systems, Inc. continues to expand its technology base by constantly investigating new products and services to offer our clientele. This ongoing research helps DataLAN’s staff to guide our customers towards cost effective, real world solutions. Utilizing a sound methodology that concentrates on anticipating our clientele’s needs we earn customer confidence and trust which becomes the basis of a mutually beneficial relationship.
