Note: If no change is made the clock will be off by one hour and if Daylight Saving Time is enabled for the system, the clock will change the first weekend in April (April 1st) per the previous Daylight Saving Time regulations making the time correct at that point. 

 

However, if you manually make the change and do not disable the Daylight Saving Time feature, the clock will change once again on the first weekend of April.  Therefore, if manually making the change you should also disable the Daylight Saving Time feature.  Instructions for doing so are also included below.

DX-80 Software Revision F2x (also works for DX-80 Software Revision F32 and later and F17 of DX-120)

 

From any telephone:

 

1. Press Feature # * and enter in your password. (Default password ########).
2. Press Show and enter 08 14.
3. Press Save then Show.
4. The option to change the Year will appear. If you do not need to change the year, press Next. If
   you need to change this value, press Chg, enter in two digits for the year and press Save then Next.
5. The option to change the Month will appear. If you do not need to change the month, press Next. If
   you need to change this value, press Chg, enter in two digits for the month and press Save then
   Next.
6. The option to change the Day will appear. If you do not need to change the date, press Next. If you
   need to change this value, press Chg, enter in two digits for the date and press Save then Next.
7. The option to change the Weekday will appear. If you do not need to change the weekday, press
   Next. If you need to change this value, press Chg, to select the weekday, and press Next.
8. The option to change the Hour will appear. Press Chg and enter in two digits for the hour in
   military format. Press Save then Next.
9. The option to change the Minutes will appear. Press Chg and enter in two digits for the minutes and
   press Save.
10. Press the On/Off (SPK) to take the phone out of programming mode.

Disabling the Daylight Saving Time Feature

This is for any system that supports the Daylight Savings Time Feature (DX-80 Software Revision F39 and DX-120 Software Revision F17)

 

This is ONLY for DX-80 or DX-120 systems that automatically update for for Daylight Saving Time on the wrong weekends! (Pre-2007 Daylight Saving Time)

 

From any telephone:

1. Press Feature # * and enter in your password. (Default password ########).
2. Press Show and enter 03 47. (Note for Dx-120, enter 03 49)
3. Press Save (Note: For DX-120, you must also then press Show).
4. The option to enable/disable the Daylight Saving Time will appear. Valid choices are Y (yes - enable daylight saving time) and N (no - disable daylight saving time)
   
   It is recommended to disable Daylight Saving Time otherwise the time will change once again on the first weekend of April as the previous Daylight Saving Time rule will be invoked.
5. Press Next to save the change.
6. To exit programming, press On/Off (SPK) button twice.

All Changes Must be Made from the Attendant's Station Phone.

DXP, DXP Plus, FX series (Impact Classic and Impact SCS Phones):

• ITCM, *, #, 0, *, 01, MM, DD, YY, HH, MM, #, SPKR to end

 

Executech, Executech II, or Centratech:

• ITCM, *, #, YY, MM, DD, HH, MM

 

Executech XE:

• ITCM, *, #, 01, YY, MM, DD, HH, MM, (Dial 1-7 for day of the week, where Sunday=1 and Saturday=7), MNTR or SPKR to end.

 

Executech 2000, Unisyn, DSU, DSUII, Americom, Express:

• ITCM, *, #, 01, YY, MM, DD, HH, MM, SPKR to end
